Obama slams against the wall ...

E 'success ... After months of speculation the U.S. president Barack Obama has decided to close the NASA Constellation Program would replace the space shuttle and return humans to the Moon by 2020. The idea came to Bush (junior) who, just like his father in the '90s, he had thought of a pharaonic lunar program and then not equip it with the most important thing ... funding! The choice of Obama, faced with the depressing findings of the Commission Augustine, could be this one. Stop the bandwagon Constellation before swallowing the entire NASA budget for years to come (as he had the STS before him). The moon would not, perhaps, but never revised the money spent would be enough to block any large number of possible future technological development. When NASA decided to focus all of its future "after Shuttle" on an Apollo-like capsule and a vector rearranged pieces of STS said immediately that it was a huge leap backwards ... Then, with the time we had already given up so that would be and it took the first African American U.S. President to reshuffle the cards. His choice was right? We'll know in a few years but I really hope so ... Trying to push individuals to enter the market low orbit is a good thing, we just hope that we succeed! At the bottom of the launch of the Falcon 9 is in about a month! The choice then to extend the life of the ISS until 2020 (and beyond) is one of those logical, and could not be otherwise. What about ... in September, when the space shuttle Discovery will touch the runway with its trucks at Kennedy Space Center we will truly have to witness the conclusion of a great era of space.
